Account Removal

To delete your Entangle Social account, log in into ‌Entangle Social mobile application (either on Android, or iOS), go to the Settings screen (the “gear” icon at the bottom-left, in the bottom control panel), press the “Delete Account” button there, and confirm your decision to delete your account in the modal dialog that will appear.

Once you have confirmed your account removal, you will loose access to your account, it will not be possible to create a new account associated with the same email, and no users will see your account and other data, unless they have matched you before, and have not unmatched you yet.

The users who have matched you before, and have not unmatched you yet, will still be able to see your account details and messages (the same data they were able to see prior to your account removal), and they will be able to leave you feedback even after your account removal.

All data related to your account will be held in our system for indeterminate time after your account removal, to allow investations (if necessary) of your removed account and its interactions with other accounts (e.g. in case of incidents, requests by authorities). After a reasonable time, provided no incident reports, authority requests, ‌etc. have been recieved, we will remove for good most of data associated with your account, with exception of records disallowing to create a new account under the same email, and feedback left to (recieved from) other users — these data will be conserved and used in the evaluation of trustworthiness of other accounts you have interacted with.
